Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire- Ráiteas

Tharla eachtra lasmuigh de Ghaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire (scoil de chuid Iontaobhas Scoileanna Éamainn Rís), inniu, áit ar sádh triúr dár ndaltaí, chomh maith leis an duine fásta a bhí in éineacht leo.

Tá alltacht agus uafás ar bhord bainistíochta agus ar fhoireann na scoile, mar aon le hIontaobhas Scoileanna Éamainn Rís, faoin méid atá tarlaithe agus guímid go dtiocfaidh biseach iomlán orthu siúd a gortaíodh inniu.

Tá tús curtha ag na Gardaí le fiosrucháin agus tá an scoil ag comhoibriú go hiomlán leo. Tá siad i mbun teagmhála faoi láthair le máthaireagraíocht na scoile chomh maith. 

Tá an tSeirbhís Náisiúnta Síceolaíochta Oideachais ag obair leis an scoil chun comhairleoireacht agus tacaíocht a chur ar fáil do na daltaí agus don fhoireann.

Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire- Statement

An incident took place outside Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire (an Edmund Rice Trust school), this afternoon where three of our pupils – along with an accompanying adult – were stabbed by an assailant.

The board and staff of the Gaelscoil – along with the Edmund Rice Schools Trust – are shocked and horrified at what has taken place and are praying for the full recovery of those injured today.

The school is fully cooperating with the Garda Síochána investigation which has commenced and are currently engaging with the school’s parent body.

The National Educational Psychological Service are working with the school to provide counselling and support to our pupils and staff.
